Built around ChatGPT
There is intentionally no manual recipe editor.
Ask ChatGPT to develop, research, or revise a recipe. ChatGPT returns a .recipe.json file. Upload it here, or paste its JSON. The site handles presentation, scaling, variants, guided prep, storage, and cooking mode.
Updating a recipe
Ask ChatGPT for a revised file with the same recipe ID. Importing it again preserves server history, checks the revision, and warns instead of silently overwriting a newer version.
Cross-device recipe sync
Built-in recipes ship with the website. Recipes imported from ChatGPT are stored in Cloudflare D1 when sync is configured, so the same recipe links work on your phone, PC, and tablet. Each device also keeps a cached copy for offline use.
What stays device-specific
Theme and text size stay on the device. Favorites, shopping, freezer inventory, equipment, notes, cooking progress, and checklists sync when editing access is configured.
Safe editing
The deployment supports a recommended EDIT_TOKEN secret. With it enabled, recipes remain readable from any device using your site link, while recipe changes and private working state—notes, shopping, freezer inventory, equipment, favorites, checklists, and progress—require the edit key once per browser.
Installable & offline
On supported browsers you can install My Kitchen to your home screen. Core site assets work offline after the first successful visit.
